The BWT works closely with and supports a number of local Special Interest Groups.

These groups monitor known populations, provide advice and raise awareness of their chosen speciality. The county recorders collect records of sightings.

To report a sighting: contact the appropriate group recorder who will want to know: what you saw, the date you saw it, where it was and ideally a grid reference.
